DAY #121: Genesis 44:1-45:28




We pretty much covered everything in today's passage yesterday. So, let me end this week by sharing with you SOME things God has put on my heart for this church over the next ten years. My request to you is that you would pray and ask God to show you what your role is in seeing Church of the Valley become the church God would have it become.

WHERE WE WANT TO BE BY 2020

A. Attendance
1050+ in attendance (12% average annual growth each year)

1. Four services each weekend (1 Sat night, two Sunday morning, one Sunday night)
2. 250 in an Adult Sunday School
3. 300 in Children’s Sunday School
4. 175 in Junior High
5. 225 in Senior High Church
6. 300 in ICCOV
7. 2 other culture-focused services per week averaging 50-75 attendees each
8. 50 LIFE groups led by trained Lay pastors and leaders
9. 15 -20 Elders
10. 60 Deacons caring for the congregation
11. 600 attending VBS
12. 200 helping with VBS
13. 60 people involved in Music ministry
14. 50 people involved in facilities ministry
15. 50 people involved in community ministry
16. 250+ women in chick cafe`. 150+ women in bible Studies.
17. 100+ men in Bible Studies.
18. 150+ Disciple-Makers and 400+ people in and through discipleship.

B. PROGRAMS/New Ministries

1. Begin an Awana program - mid-week for children.
2. Day Care/Pre-school/Charter school
3. New Person Ministry team
4. Follow Up Ministry Team
5. Working relationship with seminary for training pastors and lay leaders.

C. Building Plans/Needs

1. Master Plan Developed and being Implemented
2. Portables for day care/pre-school/charter school.
3. Remodeled Sanctuary
4. New Office and teaching building
5. Parking Lot completed
6. Well Installed

D. STAFF

1. Full Time Children’s Director
2. Full-time Junior High Pastor
3. Full Time Administrator
3. Full-time Receptionist
4. Full -time Worship Assistant
5. Full-time Facilities
6. 10 year round interns
